Dans notre jardin/In our garden

Nous dormons très bien. je me réveille vers 3 h, le bateau ne bouge pas du tout et je crois que la mer est calme, mais quand je regarde par le hublot je vois de grosses vagues qui roulent mais comme elles viennent de 3/4 arrière, le bateau (qui mesure 170 m) ne bouge pas. Une annonce à 6 h du matin prévient les passagers qui débarquent à Stavanger de se préparer, le bateau va y arriver à 7 h. J'aurais bien voulu voir la bateau accoster, mais je me suis rendormie. Avant d'aller prendre le petit-déjeuner, je vais demander à la réception quelle hauteur avaient les vagues cette nuit. Oh, seulement 3-4 m me répond le gars. Mais pour arriver au quai à Stavanger, le vent soufflait en rafales de 25 m/s (F 9) et l'accostage avait été un peu difficile. Il me racont qu'une fois ils sont partis de Hirtsals avec des vagues de 8 m, et que le temps est devenu pire rapidement, avec des vagues de 12 m!!! Nous allons petit-déjeuner, buffet agréable et si copieux qu'ils doivent jeter pas mal de nourriture. Quel gâchis. Nous sommes maintenant sur les fjords, sous un beau soleil. Nous arrivons à Bergen à 14 h et à la maison à 14 h 45.

Voilà. Encore un bon voyage de trois mois (partis le 17 août et revenus le 16 novembre) qui se termine. A part quelques problèmes avec la voiture au Danemark en août, tout s'est très bien passé.

Je me souviens que lorsque j'avais terminé le blog en 2019 du voyage Norvège-Grèce en voiture, j'avais parlé d'une chaine de l'amitié. Eh bien, la chaine est encore plus longue et plus forte. Merci à tous. Bienvenue en Norvège si le coeur vous en dit.

We sleep very well. I wake up around 3 a.m., the boat is not moving at all and I think the sea is calm, but when I look out the porthole I see big waves rolling in, but as they come from 3/4 aft, the boat ( which measures 170 m) does not move. An announcement at 6 a.m. warns passengers disembarking in Stavanger to prepare, the boat will arrive there at 7 a.m. I would have liked to see the boat dock, but I fell asleep again. Before going to breakfast, I ask the reception how high the waves were last night. Oh, only 3-4 m answers the guy. But to get to the quay in Stavanger, the wind was blowing in gusts of 25 m/s (F 9) and docking had been a bit difficult. He tells me that once they left Hirtsals with 8m waves, and that the weather got worse quickly, with 12m waves!!! We go to breakfast, nice buffet and so big they must throw away quite a lot of food. Such a waste. We are now on the fjords, under a beautiful sun. We arrive in Bergen at 2 p.m. and home at 2:45 p.m.

So. Another good trip of three months (left on August 17 and returned on November 16) which is coming to an end. Apart from some problems with the car in Denmark in August, everything went very well.
