Toujours beaucoup de vent et un peu nuageux. Nous partons à 10 h pour la longue balade Vathi-Appolonia, 9,5 km. Elle suit des vieux chemins dans la montagne et c’est impressionnant de voir les terrasses et les murs construits autrefois. Le chemin est bien marqué et nous n’allons pas nous perdre, mais nous ne le reconnaissons pas. Quand nous l’avions fait en 2016 et en 2019, nous passions près d’une église en haut sur une montagne derrière Vathi et maintenant c’est un autre chemin. Il ne fait pas trop chaud et nous marchons bien. Nous arrivons à Appolonia à 14 h 15, un peu fatigués mais ça va. Pour nous remettre, nous allons manger une soupe de poisson. Il n’y a pas de bus pour rentrer à Vathi avant 17 h donc nous prenons un taxi. Après une petite sieste, Jens va se baigner mais pas moi. Nous dinons à la maison.

Still very windy and a bit cloudy. We leave at 10 a.m.
for the long Vathi-Appolonia walk, 9.5 km. It follows old paths in the
mountains and it is impressive to see the terraces and the walls built in the
past. The path is well marked and we will not get lost, but we do not recognize
it. When we did it in 2016 and 2019 we passed near a church high up on a
mountain behind Vathi and now it is another way. It's not too hot and we walk
well. We arrive at Appolonia at 2:15 p.m., a little tired but okay. To recover,
we eat a fish soup. There is no bus to return to Vathi before 5 p.m. so we take
a taxi. After a little nap, Jens goes swimming but not me. We dine at home.
