Nous avons bien dormi et montons prendre le petit-déjeuner avec Fritz et Margret. Margret part à 8 h 45 pour chanter avec sa chorale à l'église. Nous, nous restons à la maison. Jens fait une lessive que j'étends dans le jardin. Il fait beau, sec et froid et le linge sèche bien. Je fais le blog, Fritz et Jens discutent et Margret rentre vers 11 h 15. Nous déjeunons ensemble de bonne heure car elle repart à la foire qui est sur deux jours, samedi et dimanche. Puis Jens et moi allons faire une promenade, d'abord à flan de coteau et ensuite en suivant le bord du lac de Thun. C'est incroyable qu'il y ait encore tant de fleurs dans les jardins, un 6 novembre. Je vois même des fraisiers en fleurs, en novembre! Ce n'est pas normal. Nous rentrons, Fritz va chercher le matériel avec sa moto et la remorque, et Margret rentre avec son vélo électrique.  Quand la chatte Pitschi entend la porte d'entrée s'ouvrir, elle va les accueillir, c'est une jolie chatte noire et blanche qui est "flink" (intelligente en norvégien). Elle apparait souvent dans les dessins de Margret.  Fritz nous prépare de très bons spaghettis à la sauce tomate et un de leurs amis de bateau vient diner avec nous. Sa femme devait venir aussi mais elle a une rage de dents et ne vient pas, la pauvre.  C'est drôle, c'est en Suisse qui n'a pas de mer, que nous parlons le plus de bateau. Cet ami a participé à une régate de Travemünde (Allemagne) à Luleå dans la baie de Bothnia au nord de la Suède. Il a mis 11 jours. Bon diner et conversation intéressante, que demander de plus?

Saturday, November 6.

We slept well and go upstairs to have breakfast with Fritz and Margret. Margret leaves at 8:45 a.m. to sing with her choir at church. We stay at home. Jens washes the laundry and I hang it out in the garden. The weather is nice, dry and cold and the laundry dries well. I do the blog, Fritz and Jens chat and Margret comes home around 11:15 a.m. We have lunch together early because she is leaving again for the fair which is over two days, Saturday and Sunday. Then Jens and I are going for a walk, first on the hillside and then following the edge of Lake Thun. It's amazing that there are still so many flowers in the gardens on a November 6th. I even see strawberries in bloom in November! It is not normal. We return, Fritz goes to get the equipment with his motorcycle and the trailer, and Margret returns with her electric bike. When the cat Pitschi hears the front door open, she goes to welcome them, it's a pretty black and white cat who is "flink" (intelligent in Norwegian). She often appears in Margret's drawings. Fritz prepares us very good spaghetti with tomato sauce and one of their boating friends comes to dine with us. His wife was supposed to come too, but she has a toothache and won't come, poor thing. It's funny, it's in Switzerland, which has no sea, that we talk the most about boats. This friend took part in a regatta from Travemünde (Germany) to Luleå in the bay of Bothnia in the north of Sweden. It took 11 days. Good dinner and interesting conversation, what more could you ask for?
